This little girl and her 5 tiny pups were rescued by Lyons Animal Control. Shelly was scared and severely malnourished but was doing a great job caring for her two week old babies that the owner had left out in the hot sun. SOAPS took care of her and the little ones until they were old enough to travel north.

Catnip Friends Dog and Cat Rescue in New Jersey took the whole little family and found them all wonderful families. Here is Shelly enjoying life in her new home.
