This girl was a stray in Hazlehurst. She was taken care of for a few weeks by a Good Samaritan who contacted SOAPS for help. “Maggie” was taken into our foster program, vetted and left for her new home with K-9 Life Savers on March 5, 2015. Here is “Maggie” in her new home!
Tater has been at the shelter since Oct 2014. He was confined in a very small cage with his previous owners with no shelter and little food. He lived in mud and was very thin. Tater, now Apollo, was adopted recently by a wonderful family. Look at him now.

This is Cupcake who is very pregnant. She was left for dead in a dumpster in GA. SOAPS rescued her found her a safe haven at Second Chance Rescue in New York. She is now in a loving foster home awaiting the birth of her babies.
This is Snoopy. He came into the shelter very malnourished and cold. Aftermuch TLC and vetting from SOAPS, he blossomed into a beautiful dog. Snoopy is now living the fat life in Virginia. As you can see, he was his new mommy’s Valentine.
